Founded in 1923 as Jiangxi Provincial Commercial School, JUFE has developed into a university co-constructed by the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Finance, and the People's Government of Jiangxi Province. As a key member of China's "Five Finance and One Trade" elite group of finance and economics universities, it has maintained leading positions in academic strength and social reputation among domestic finance and economics institutions.
