盛夏七月，赣江之滨，青春激扬。7月5日至16日，由江西财经大学主办的“DiscoverJiangxi 发现江西”2026年国际暑期学校成功举办。
In the height of summer, on the banks of the Gan River, youthful energy was palpable. From July 5th to 16th, the "Discover Jiangxi" 2026 International Summer School, hosted by Jiangxi University of Finance and Economics, was successfully held.
来自美国、俄罗斯、英国、巴西、韩国、罗马尼亚、越南等25个国家的110余名外国青年，与百余名中方营员共聚南昌，在为期12天的研学之旅中，亲身感受中国式现代化的实践成果、深入体验赣鄱文化的独特魅力，用脚步与心灵为这座英雄城写下属于这个夏天的青春注脚。More than 110 young people from 25 countries , including the United States, Russia, the United Kingdom, Brazil, South Korea, Romania, and Vietnam , joined more than 100 Chinese participants in Nanchang for a 12- day study tour. They personally experienced the practical achievements of China's modernization and deeply felt the unique charm of Ganpo culture, writing a youthful footnote to this heroic city with their footsteps and hearts.
以文化人：课堂内外架设文明之桥 Cultivating People through Culture: Building Bridges of Civilization Inside and Outside the Classroom
在校内的系列课程与工作坊中，中外青年在思想的碰撞中加深了对彼此文化的理解。跨文化交流工作坊“中国式现代化的机遇与互鉴”从多元视角解读当代中国的发展路径；主题课程“中国传统思想与文化”“电影里的中国文化”以生动形式展现中华文明的深厚底蕴；国际文化与语言人类学工作坊则搭建起跨文化沟通的学术桥梁。而在“赣药风华——江西中医药与健康”“高等教育发展的国际比较”“中外青年共话人工智能”等课堂上，中外营员围绕前沿议题展开深入讨论，在学术交流中感知一个传统与现代交相辉映的中国。
Through a series of courses and workshops on campus, Chinese and international youth deepened their understanding of each other's cultures through the exchange of ideas. The intercultural exchange workshop, "Opportunities and Mutual Learning in Chinese Modernization," interpreted the development path of contemporary China from multiple perspectives; the thematic courses, "Traditional Chinese Thought and Culture" and "Chinese Culture in Film," vividly showcased the profound heritage of Chinese civilization; and the international cultural and linguistic anthropology workshop built academic bridges for intercultural communication. In classes such as "The Splendor of Jiangxi Medicine—Traditional Chinese Medicine and Health in Jiangxi," "International Comparison of Higher Education Development," and "Chinese and International Youth Discuss Artificial Intelligence," Chinese and international participants engaged in in-depth discussions on cutting-edge topics, experiencing a China where tradition and modernity intertwine through academic exchange.
文化体验环节让营员们零距离触摸中华非遗之美。书法课堂上，笔墨纸砚间流淌着东方美学的气韵；非遗面塑体验中，指尖揉捏出鲜活灵动的民间艺术形象。夜幕降临，太极扇、太极剑与中国功夫的演练场上，营员们在一招一式中领悟“阴阳和合”的东方哲学智慧。破冰行动中的深度互动，则让来自不同国家的青年迅速拉近了心灵的距离，友谊的种子在欢声笑语中悄然生根。
The cultural experience sessions allowed campers to experience the beauty of Chinese intangible cultural heritage firsthand. In the calligraphy class, the spirit of Eastern aesthetics flowed through the ink, brush, paper, and inkstone; in the intangible cultural heritage dough sculpting experience, fingertips kneaded vivid and lively folk art images. As night fell, on the practice grounds for Tai Chi fan, Tai Chi sword, and Chinese Kung Fu, campers grasped the Eastern philosophical wisdom of "yin and yang harmony" through each movement. The in-depth interactions during the ice-breaking activities quickly brought young people from different countries closer together, and the seeds of friendship quietly took root amidst laughter and joy.
行走赣鄱：贯通古今读懂中国之路 Walking through Ganpo: Understanding China Through Ancient and Modern Times
走出校园，营员们踏上了贯通古今的赣鄱文化探索之旅。在滕王阁，中外青年登高远眺，吟诵千古名篇，于“落霞与孤鹜齐飞，秋水共长天一色”的绝美意境中感受豫章故郡的千年文脉；在南昌汉代海昏侯国遗址博物馆，万余件汉代文物宛如“时光胶囊”，让营员们得以窥见两千多年前的辉煌文明。
Stepping out of the campus, the campers embarked on a journey to explore the ancient and modern culture of Jiangxi. At Tengwang Pavilion, Chinese and foreign youths climbed to the top, recited timeless classics, and experienced the millennia-old cultural heritage of Yuzhang County amidst the breathtaking scenery of "the sunset glows and wild geese fly together, the autumn water blends with the sky." At the Nanchang Han Dynasty Haihunhou State Site Museum, more than 10,000 Han Dynasty artifacts were like "time capsules," allowing the campers to glimpse the glorious civilization of more than two thousand years ago.
企业参访让营员们见证了江西产业发展的蓬勃活力。在林恩茶叶的袅袅茶香中，各国青年品味中国茶文化的悠远韵味；在李渡元代烧酒作坊遗址，营员们在弥漫酒香的窖池群间，探寻中国古代酿酒工艺的源远流长。
The company visits allowed the campers to witness the vibrant development of Jiangxi's industries. Amidst the fragrant aroma of Lin'en Tea, the young people from various countries savored the profound charm of Chinese tea culture; at the Lidu Yuan Dynasty distillery site, the campers explored the long history of ancient Chinese brewing techniques among the cellars filled with the aroma of liquor.
在千年瓷都景德镇，一幅蔚为壮观的陶瓷文明画卷徐徐展开。景德镇中国陶瓷博物馆里，从新石器时代的质朴陶器到明清官窑的绝世珍品，五万件文物串联起一部立体的中华造物史。在红叶国瓷馆，营员们不仅参观了现代陶瓷产品，更亲身体验拉坯与釉下手绘，在素坯上留下自己的创意印记。夜幕下的陶溪川文创街区，传统瓷艺与数字科技在此完美融合，向世界展示了“瓷都”以开放姿态书写传统文化创新发展的时代新篇。
In Jingdezhen, the millennium-old porcelain capital, a magnificent scroll of ceramic civilization unfolds. At the Jingdezhen China Ceramics Museum, 50,000 artifacts, ranging from simple Neolithic pottery to exquisite Ming and Qing dynasty imperial kilns, weave together a three-dimensional history of Chinese craftsmanship. At the Hongye National Porcelain Museum, campers not only viewed modern ceramic products but also experienced wheel throwing and underglaze painting, leaving their own creative imprints on the unglazed ceramic pieces. Under the night sky, the Taoxichuan Cultural and Creative Street perfectly blends traditional porcelain art with digital technology, showcasing to the world how the "Porcelain Capital" is writing a new chapter in the innovative development of traditional culture with an open attitude.
在“中国最美乡村”婺源篁岭，营员们穿行于青石板街巷，既触摸到徽派建筑“三雕”艺术的精妙，也感受到传统村落保护与乡村振兴的生动实践。在弦高古城，鱼灯巡游、火壶等非遗表演让营员们沉浸式体验了赣鄱民俗文化的独特魅力。
In Huangling, Wuyuan, known as "China's Most Beautiful Village," campers strolled through cobblestone streets, experiencing the exquisite "three carvings" art of Hui-style architecture and witnessing the vivid practice of traditional village protection and rural revitalization. In Xiangao Ancient Town, intangible cultural heritage performances such as fish lantern parades and fire pots allowed campers to immerse themselves in the unique charm of Ganpo folk culture.
青春同行：中外之间结下友谊之缘 Youthful Journey Together: Forging Friendships Between China and Foreign Countries
7月16日上午，国际暑期学校闭幕仪式在我校蛟桥园校区举行。仪式上，校方为全体中外营员颁发结营证书，为优秀志愿者授予荣誉，并为在跨文化交流中表现出色、积极传播赣鄱文化的中外营员颁发“国际交流大使”证书。
On the morning of July 16th , the closing ceremony of the International Summer School was held at our school's Jiaqiao Campus. At the ceremony, the school presented completion certificates to all Chinese and international participants, awarded honors to outstanding volunteers, and presented "International Exchange Ambassador" certificates to Chinese and international participants who excelled in cross-cultural exchange and actively promoted Ganpo culture.
正如副校长袁红林在开幕式上所期许的，学员们成为中国文化的深度体验者、文明交流的积极使者和跨国友谊的缔结者，用脚步丈量江西的山川大地，用心灵感受中华文明的博大精深，用行动诠释了“美美与共、文明互通”的交流理念。来自英国考文垂大学的GreeshmaSalin在结营时感慨：“这12天的经历让我看到了一个真实、立体、多元的中国，这份友谊和记忆将伴随我一生。”
As Vice President Yuan Honglin expressed at the opening ceremony, the participants became in-depth experiencers of Chinese culture, active ambassadors of cultural exchange, and forgers of transnational friendship. They measured the mountains and rivers of Jiangxi with their footsteps, felt the profoundness of Chinese civilization with their hearts, and interpreted the exchange concept of "harmony in diversity and mutual understanding among civilizations" through their actions. Greeshma Salin from Coventry University in the UK remarked at the closing ceremony: "These 12 days of experience have shown me a real, three-dimensional, and diverse China. This friendship and these memories will stay with me for life."

Heads of departments including the Publicity Department of the University Party Committee, the Student Affairs Office, the Youth League Committee, the Academic Affairs Office, and the Graduate School, as well as heads of colleges such as the School of Statistics and Data Science, the School of Public Administration, the School of Software and Internet of Things Engineering, the School of Design and Art, and the School of Foreign Languages attended the ceremony.

The successful hosting of this international summer school is another significant achievement for Jiangxi University of Finance and Economics in its ongoing efforts to build a high-quality brand for Sino-foreign cultural exchanges.
