The School of Artificial Intelligence (AI) at Nanjing University was inaugurated in May 2018, distinguishing itself as the pioneering AI school among the esteemed C9 League universities—an alliance of nine elite universities in China, akin to the Ivy League in the United States and the Russell Group in the United Kingdom. Recognizing the unique demands of cultivating artificial intelligence talent, Nanjing University proactively addressed key challenges in advanced AI professional education. Leading the way, the university developed and introduced China’s inaugural AI undergraduate educational framework, the “Nanjing University Artificial Intelligence Undergraduate Professional Education and Training System”.
