On September 27th, the Graduate Student Union of Nanjing University organized a event on Gulou Campus, providing international students and Chinese peers with a platform for cultural exchange. Through a series of activities and warm interactions, students from different countries shared their stories and wishes, deepening mutual understanding and strengthening friendship.

The event featured two main activities. The first was Postcard Exchange, in which students shared postcards with peers from different cultural backgrounds, conveying warm wishes and personal stories to forge genuine connections. The second was an innovative "Voice Map" game, in which participants listened to short audio clips in various languages and tried to identify their countries of origin. An especially fun part was the game included a lively "voice relay": students described the clips in their native tongues before passing them on, creating a lively and seamless chain of communication that flowed effortlessly across language barriers.

Participants responded enthusiastically to the gathering. One international student said, "I was a bit nervous at first, but the postcard I received was so sincere that it made me feel truly welcomed. The voice game was hilarious and reminded me that friendship doesn't require perfect language." A Chinese student reflected, "Writing the postcard felt like sending a piece of friendship, and the 'voice relay' was a fun challenge—it really felt like we were building something together."

The event concluded with laughter, heartfelt exchanges, and new friendships. More importantly, it created a welcoming opportunity for international students to engage in cultural exchange and inspired possibilities for more inclusive activities on campus.
