Program Overview

This program is among the first batch of National Characteristic Programs, the inaugural reform initiative under the National Excellent Medical (Traditional Chinese Medicine) Education and Training Program, one of the first national-level first-class undergraduate programs, and a flagship program at Jiangsu Province's higher education institutions. It focuses on professional competency, emphasizes the effectiveness of moral education, advances educational and teaching reforms, and aims to cultivate outstanding TCM professionals with solid foundational knowledge, profound traditional cultural literacy, excellent comprehensive qualities, and significant development potential, thereby serving the advancement of China's healthcare sector and meeting public health needs.

Silk Road Program

The "Silk Road" Chinese Government Scholarship Program is a scholarship provided by the Chinese Ministry of Education to selected Chinese institutions. It is used to fund these institutions to directly select and recommend outstanding students from countries along the "Belt and Road" to study in China, aiming to enhance mutual understanding and friendship between the Chinese people and people from around the world, and to develop cooperation and exchanges between China and other countries in the fields of education, science, culture, economy, and trade. This program is a full-time, full-coverage scholarship for international students funded by the Chinese government. The scholarship covers tuition fees, accommodation expenses, living stipend, and comprehensive medical insurance.
