On May 14, 113 Chinese and international students from 12 countries, including Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, and South Korea, joined an immersive journey into traditional Chinese medicine and Chinese ecological culture.
Students learned about traditional herbal tools, explored medicinal plants, and experienced moxibustion therapies, including Dynamic Moxibustion and Long Snake Moxibustion.
In the afternoon, participants walked through forests and hills, they identified herbs such as honeysuckle, dandelion, and houttuynia, learning about their medicinal properties in nature.
From clinical TCM practices to mountain herb exploration, students gained a deeper understanding of the connection between traditional Chinese medicine, culture, and ecological civilization in China.
Through programs like this, NJUCM continues to promote cultural exchange and inspire young people from around the world to serve as bridges of international friendship and mutual learning.
