Chinese Government Scholarship-Bilateral Program

Chinese Government Scholarship -the Bilateral Program includes a full or partial scholarship established by MOE in accordance with educational exchange agreements or consensus between Chinese government and governments of other countries, institutions, universities or international organizations.

The Bilateral Program supports undergraduate students, graduate students, general scholars and senior scholars. Applicants may consult the dispatching authorities of the home country for the categories available.

Hangzhou Normal University accepts applicants sponsored by this scholarship, including undergraduate students, graduate students, general scholars (including students for one semester or one academic year’s Chinese language programs)and senior scholars.

How to Apply

Applicants may apply to the dispatching authorities for overseas study of the home country and select Hangzhou Normal University as the target university. However, applicants must note that Hangzhou Normal University does NOT directly accept the application.

When to Apply

1. It is required to apply between early January and early April each year. Applicants may consult the dispatching authorities for the specific deadline of each year.

2. Applicants who ask for pre-admission letters MUST first log on the online Hangzhou Normal University Application System.
