I. Application Deadline

February 28, 2026 (The deadline is Beijing Time and includes the day itself.)

II. Eligibility

1. Scholarship applicants must meet the qualifications for postgraduate admissions of Zhejiang University. Please refer to the 2026 application guide for Master's Degree Programs and Doctoral Degree Programs for details.

2. Applicants must have proper attitude towards study and scientific research, and with good grades.

3. Applicants must not be beneficiaries of other scholarships at the same time.

III. Scholarship Coverage and Duration

The funding amount of this scholarship is RMB 30,000 yuan, and the funding period is one year.

Students with excellent academic performance during their studies are eligible to reapply.  

IV. Application Materials

Applicants must log in to the Online Application System For International Students of Zhejiang University, clearly fill in and completely upload the application materials as required.

In addition to the application documents for admissions (please refer to the following application guide for more information: Master's Degree Programs and Doctoral Degree Programs), scholarship applicants must submit the following supplementary materials.

1. Application Form for Zhejiang Government Scholarship. 

2. Non-Criminal Record Certificate. The applicant shall submit a valid certificate of Non-Criminal Record issued by the local public security authority within 6 months prior to the submission date of the application.

V. Admission and Notification

The university will conduct a preliminary review of the applicant's materials. Those who pass the preliminary review will take video interview arranged by academic schools. The scholarship recommendation will be made on the basis of competitive selection according to the applicants’ research ability, academic performance, language proficiency, performance during video interview, etc.

Applicants will be informed about the admission result via Online Application System for International Students.
