III. Eligibility Requirements

1. Non-Chinese citizen in good health

2. Master's degree holder with outstanding academic performance

3. Under 40 years of age

4. HSK Level 5 (for Chinese-taught programs) or TOEFL 80+/IELTS 6.0+ (for English-taught programs)

IV. Application Procedure

1. Submit application via NUIST system (https://nuist.17gz.org) by Feb 15

2. Select "Chinese Government Scholarship"

3. Attend academic interview (February/March)

4. Receive Pre-admission Notice if selected

5. Complete CSC online application (http://studyinchina.csc.edu.cn)

• Choose "Program Category Type B"

• Use Agency Number: 10300

V. Required Documents

1. Application Form for Chinese Government Scholarship

2. Passport copy

3. Notarized master's diploma and all academic transcripts (undergraduate & master's)

4. Language proficiency certificate (HSK 5 or TOEFL 80+/IELTS 6.0+)

5. Acceptance form signed by NUIST doctoral supervisor

6. Research proposal (minimum 1,000 words) signed by supervisor

7. Two recommendation letters from professors/associate professors

8. Physical Examination Form

9. Non-criminal record report
