Overview

Beijing Jiaotong University, a national key university under the direct administration of the Ministry of Education, jointly supported by the Ministry of Education, Ministry of Transport, Beijing Municipal Government, and China State Railway Group Co., Ltd, is an active contributor to the development of the National 211 Project, the 985 Innovative Platforms for Key Disciplines Projectand the Double First-Classconstruction.

 

As one of the three founding bodies of the Jiaotong University, the history of BJTU can be dated back to 1896. BJTU originated from Beijing Railway Management Institute, Chinas first higher education institution committed to fostering railway management talents, which was created by the Qing dynasty government. It is the birthplace of modern Chinas railway management and telecommunication education.

 

BJTU has two campuses, the East and the West, in the renowned education district Haidian. BJTU established Weihai Campus in Weihai, Shandong Province. All campuses are equipped with complete teaching and research facilities and have beautiful environment.

    由中国教育部设立,支持一带一路沿线国家留学生来华攻读本科、硕士学位。

    Established by the Chinese Ministry of Education, the program supports international students from Belt and Road countries to pursue undergraduate and master’s degrees in China.

    资助标准:免交注册费、学费、实验费和基本实习费;提供校内住宿;提供来华留学生综合医疗保险;提供生活费(本科生2500元人民币/月,硕士研究生 3000 元人民币/月)。

    MOFCOM Scholarship
    MOFCOM Scholarship is set up by Ministry of Commerce of People's Republic of China to further strengthen the communication and cooperation between China and other countries as well as to develop talents for developing countries. Starting from 2015, MOFCOM Scholarship mainly sponsors the young and the middle-aged talents from recipient countries to pursue their postgraduate degree education in China. China Scholarship Council is entrusted to administer the Scholarship.

    Established by the Confucius Institute headquarters/Office of Chinese Language Council International, the scholarship is used to sponsor international students to study the major related to the international education of Chinese language in China.
