In the summer of 2026, Zhejiang University once again welcomed a splash of foreign color – our long-time friends from the University of Carlo Bo in Italy, arrived with their student exchange program.
这所高校在意大利的语言教育界可谓大名鼎鼎。它是意大利培养顶尖语言和翻译专业人才的摇篮。今年，已经是浙工大与该校携手举办“最Yi杭州”夏令营项目的第二年。
This university is renowned in Italy's language education sector. It is considered the leading institution for training top-tier language and translation professionals. This year marks the second year of the collaborative "MostYi Hangzhou" summer program between Zhejiang University and this university.
这一次，9位意大利师生与我们的浙工大志愿者们撞了个满怀。没有冗长的客套，没有生硬的说教，这群中意年轻人用两周的时间，在传统与现代之间穿梭，在生疏与默契之间碰撞。这不仅是一场简单的游学，更是一场充满着“好奇、惊叹与不舍”的跨国青春派对！
This time, nine Italian students and our Zhejiang University volunteers had a truly enriching experience. There was no lengthy formality, no forced lectures – instead, these young Italians spent two weeks exploring the intersection of tradition and modernity, and the space between familiarity and understanding. This was more than just a simple study abroad program; it was a vibrant, cross-cultural exchange filled with "curiosity, wonder, and a sense of shared experience."

开营仪式第一天，手捏地图的意大利学子们在志愿者的带领下，穿梭在教学楼、图书馆和食堂之间，像探险家一样解锁着浙工大的各个地标。到了开营仪式的结对环节，画风更是直接“跑偏”：没有严肃的分配，女生们玩起了词语配对，男生们则用最国际化的语言——“石头剪刀布”来决定搭档。
On the first day of the orientation program, the Italian students, accompanied by volunteers, explored Zhejiang University's campus, discovering its various landmarks like explorers. During the pairing activity for the orientation, the atmosphere took an unexpected turn: instead of a formal assignment, the female students played a word-matching game, while the male students used a globally recognized method – "rock, paper, scissors" – to determine their pairings.
爆笑声中，原本有些拘谨的米兰青年瞬间卸下防备，作为语言专业的学生，属于他们的第一堂浙工大中文课，就在这样轻松热烈的气氛中拉开了帷幕。
Amidst laughter, the Milanese students instantly relaxed their guard. As students of language studies, this was their first class at Zhejiang University, and it began in a relaxed and lively atmosphere.

Confronted with the vast and intricate Chinese culture, these Italian friends, who are passionate about the Chinese language, were incredibly curious.
在武术课上，当黄聪颖老师展示太极的行云流水时，台下发出阵阵惊叹。轮到自己上阵，意大利学生们虽然手型步法略显笨拙，但在“吐纳”与“站桩”的模仿中，每个人都出奇地认真，努力感受那份“刚柔并济”的东方神秘力量。
During the Tai Chi class, as Mr. Huang Congying demonstrated the flowing movements, the students in the audience were impressed. When it was their turn to practice, the Italian students' movements and stances were somewhat clumsy, but they all demonstrated a remarkable level of dedication and effort in attempting to replicate the "soft yet firm" Eastern mystique of "Tui Na" and "Standing Still."
国画课上的墨香，更是让这群西方青年静下心来。执笔蘸墨，勾勒竹叶，当一幅幅充满异域灵魂却又带着东方神韵的墨竹跃然纸上，他们懂得了“竹”在中国文化中坚韧与谦逊的底色。更动人的是在良渚的5000+艺创园，一位意大利小伙特意请中国书法家挥毫写下一首诗，小心翼翼地收好——他说，这是要带回欧洲送给母亲的礼物。 东方美学，在这一刻化作了最温暖的跨国亲情。
The scent of ink in the Chinese painting class also helped these young Westerners to focus. As they carefully dipped their brushes and sketched bamboo leaves, they began to understand the resilience and humility inherent in the concept of "bamboo" within Chinese culture. Even more moving was the scene at Liang You, where an Italian young man specifically commissioned a Chinese calligrapher to write a poem. He carefully preserved the poem, explaining that he wanted to bring it back to Europe as a gift for his mother. In that moment, Eastern aesthetics transformed into the warmest expression of cross-cultural affection.

从江南古典到数字现代，杭州与义乌给了他们极大的“双重震撼”。在绿意盎然的龙井茶园，中意青年一边徒步，一边热烈探讨着全球共同关注的生态可持续发展；在太音琴社，他们亲手拨弄古琴琴弦，看着如同“密码”般的减字谱，惊叹于《高山流水》的千古浪漫；在夜色下的西湖，当《印象西湖》的水幕与光影亮起，白蛇传说的柔情让这群语言学子们忍不住狂飙刚学会的中文：“太漂亮了！很好看！”
From the classical charm of the Jiangnan region to the modern digital world, Hangzhou and Yiwu provided a unique "double impact" for the young Italians. While strolling through the lush Longjing tea fields, they engaged in passionate discussions about global sustainable development. At the Taiyinqin Society, they personally played the strings of ancient guqin, marveling at the "code-like" notation of "High Mountains and Running Water," and expressing their astonishment at the timeless romance. Under the night sky, as the "Impression of West Lake" water screen and lights illuminated, the romantic legend of the white snake inspired the young linguists to enthusiastically practice their newly learned Mandarin: "It's so beautiful! So impressive!"
最硬核的体验，莫过于义乌的“数字商贸”研学

他们化身“跨国带货主播”，在电商课堂上分组尝试用多语种对着镜头推销产品，金句频出，直播间笑果拉满；下午，当他们真正走进“世界超市”义乌国际商贸城时，彻底被琳琅满目的商品和极致的性价比震撼。他们用越来越流利的中文和商户交流，直观感受到了中国数字经济与庞大供应链的跳动狂飙。
They transformed into "cross-border e-commerce hosts," attempting to promote products in multiple languages on an e-commerce platform. They delivered memorable lines, and the live stream was filled with laughter. In the afternoon, they experienced firsthand the impressive variety and exceptional value offered at the Yiwu International Trade City, a veritable "world supermarket." They communicated fluently with merchants, and were deeply impressed by the dynamism of China's digital economy and its vast supply chain.

结营仪式上，伴随着抢凳子游戏的欢笑与四大博物馆探索成果的精彩汇报，这场为期两周的夏令营迎来了结营时刻。
The summer camp concluded with a farewell ceremony, featuring laughter during the "sit-down" game and a presentation of the exciting discoveries made during their exploration of the four museums.
在互换礼物的环节，当大家按照游戏序号交换着精心准备的小礼物时，离别的情绪终于决堤。分享会上，意大利学子们动情地回顾这14天——从初到异国的忐忑，到如今中文水平的突飞猛进和满载而归的不舍。语言虽然不同，但此刻眼角的泪花和紧紧的拥抱，印证了灵魂的共鸣。
During the exchange of carefully prepared gifts, the feeling of parting finally overwhelmed everyone. At the farewell party, the Italian students shared heartfelt memories of the past 14 days – from their initial apprehension upon arriving in a new country, to their remarkable improvement in Chinese, and their reluctance to leave. Although the languages differed, the tears in their eyes and the tight embraces confirmed a shared emotional connection.
十年树木，百年树人。浙工大与意大利卡波洛大学（SSML CARLO BO）联手打造的年度中意学生交流项目将作为一项长期工程持续开展下去，两校还将推动语言类专业开展更深入的交流与合作。
"The annual China-Italy student exchange program, jointly developed by Zhejiang University and the University of Carlo Bo (SSML CARLO BO) in Italy, will continue as a long-term initiative. Both universities will also promote deeper exchanges and collaboration within language-related fields.
更令人振奋的是，这场跨国交流已经结出了实打实的“硕果”：通过这个桥梁，不仅有越来越多的意大利年轻人爱上中国文化、说出一口流利的中文，部分优秀的意大利学子甚至已经成功入职了正在“出海”意大利的浙江企业！
Even more encouraging is the tangible "fruit" of this international exchange. Through this bridge, more and more Italian young people are developing an appreciation for Chinese culture and learning to speak fluent Mandarin. Moreover, some outstanding Italian students have even secured positions with Zhejiang companies in China.
