2026 年 8 月 21 日至 23 日，由北京科技大学与爱思唯尔（Elsevier）共同主办，国家材料腐蚀与防护科学数据中心、中国腐蚀与防护学会、北京科技大学雄安高等研究院联合协办的腐蚀科学国际青年论坛（New Horizons for Corrosion Science）在河北雄安新区隆重举行！
The International Young Forum on Corrosion Science (New Horizons for Corrosion Science) will be held in Xiong'an New Area, Hebei, from August 21-23, 2026. The forum is co-organized by Beijing Technological University and Elsevier, and is supported by the National Center for Corrosion and Protection Science, the Chinese Society for Corrosion and Protection, and the Beijing Technological University Xiong'an Institute of Higher Learning.
北京科技大学副校长王鲁宁教授，爱思唯尔材料科学期刊全球出版总监白洁，国家材料腐蚀与防护科学数据中心主任、中国腐蚀与防护学会理事长李晓刚教授，《Corrosion Science》期刊联合主编 Arjan Mol 教授、Oscar Mattos 教授、张达威教授，国际腐蚀理事会主席 V. S. Raja 教授、前主席 Emma Angelini 教授等来自 12 个国家的 200 多位腐蚀科学与防护领域知名科学家及青年学者出席了本次论坛。
The forum was attended by over 200 prominent scientists and young scholars in the field of corrosion science and protection from 12 countries, including Professor Wang Luning, Vice President of Beijing University of Technology; Ms. Bai Jie, Global Editor-in-Chief of Elsevier's Materials Science journal; Professor Li Xiao, Director of the National Materials Corrosion and Protection Science Data Center, and Chairman of the Chinese Corrosion and Protection Society; Professor Arjan Mol, Co-Editor of the "Corrosion Science" journal; Professor Oscar Mattos; Professor Zhang Dawei; Professor V. S. Raja, Chairman of the International Corrosion Council; and former Chairman Professor Emma Angelini.
论坛通过学术报告、专题交流、期刊发展研讨和论文讲评等环节，为海内外腐蚀科学领域青年学者搭建了国际化学术交流平台，推动了腐蚀科学领域的高水平学术交流，助力青年学者的成长与发展。
The forum provides a platform for international academic exchange for young researchers in the field of corrosion science, through academic reports, specialized discussions, journal development workshops, and paper reviews. This facilitates high-level academic exchange in the field of corrosion science, and supports the growth and development of young researchers.
论坛开幕式由北京科技大学科学技术研究院院长、《Corrosion Science》期刊联合主编张达威教授主持。北京科技大学副校长王鲁宁教授，爱思唯尔材料科学期刊全球出版总监白洁，国家材料腐蚀与防护科学数据中心主任、中国腐蚀与防护学会理事长李晓刚教授先后致开幕辞，立足行业发展前沿，围绕腐蚀学科建设、国际期刊发展、青年人才培养等方面分享真知灼见，对本次论坛的顺利举办寄予殷切期许。
The opening ceremony was presided over by Professor Zhang Dawei, Dean of the Science and Technology Institute at Beijing Technological University, and a co-editor of the journal *Corrosion Science*. Professor Wang Luning, Vice President of Beijing Technological University, Ms. Bai Jie, Global Editorial Director for the Materials Science journal at Elsevier, and Professor Li Xiao, Director of the National Materials Corrosion and Protection Science Data Center and a member of the China Corrosion and Protection Society, all delivered opening remarks. Focusing on the forefront of industry development, they shared insightful perspectives on the development of the corrosion discipline, the growth of international journals, and the cultivation of young talent, expressing their sincere hopes for the successful completion of this forum.
随后，李晓刚教授、Arjan Mol教授、Oscar Mattos教授和V. S. Raja教授分别为《Corrosion Science》期刊青年编委会首批执委颁发了证书。青年编委会的成立，旨在汇聚全球腐蚀科学领域优秀青年科研力量，充分激发青年学者创新活力，助力期刊持续提升国际学术影响力，推动腐蚀与防护学科青年人才队伍建设与国际化长远发展。
Subsequently, Professor Li Xiaogang, Professor Arjan Mol, Professor Oscar Mattos, and Professor V. S. Raja each presented certificates to the inaugural members of the young editorial board of the "Corrosion Science" journal. The establishment of the young editorial board aims to gather outstanding young researchers in the field of corrosion science, to fully stimulate the innovative spirit of young scholars, and to contribute to the journal's continued enhancement of its international academic influence, and to promote the development and internationalization of the young talent pool in the field of corrosion and protection.
会议期间，荷兰代尔夫特理工大学、荷兰工程院院士Arjan Mol教授，巴西里约热内卢联邦大学Oscar Mattos教授，爱思唯尔材料科学期刊出版人沈鹭，东北大学刘莉教授，国际腐蚀理事会主席、印度理工学院教授V. S. Raja教授，北京科技大学马菱薇教授作大会报告，分别就腐蚀表征技术、电化学理论分析、极端环境腐蚀与防护、先进金属材料腐蚀机理、腐蚀智能分析预测技术和《Corrosion Science》期刊建设等方面进行了交流研讨。大会报告分别由北京科技大学张博威教授和布鲁塞尔自由大学Reynier Revilla副教授主持。
During the conference, Professor Arjan Mol of Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands, Professor Oscar Mattos of the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro in Brazil, Ms. Shen Lu, editor of the "Corrosion Science" journal, Professor Liu Li of Northeast University, Professor V. S. Raja, President of the International Corrosion Society and Professor at the Indian Institute of Technology, and Professor Ma Ling Wei of Beijing Technological University, delivered presentations on topics including corrosion characterization techniques, electrochemical theory analysis, corrosion in extreme environments and protection, mechanisms of corrosion in advanced metals, and the development of the "Corrosion Science" journal. The presentations were chaired by Professor Zhang Bowei of Beijing Technological University and Professor Reynier Revilla of the Free University of Brussels.
8 月 22 日下午，论坛设立腐蚀基础理论、前沿防护技术、国际研究进展三个分会场。报告内容涉及腐蚀电化学与表征方法、极端环境腐蚀机理、先进耐蚀金属材料、涂层与表面防护技术等方向。
On August 22nd, the forum established three separate conference rooms: one focused on the theory of corrosion, another on advanced protective technologies, and a third on international research advancements. The presentations covered topics such as electrochemical corrosion and characterization methods, mechanisms of corrosion in extreme environments, advanced corrosion-resistant materials, and coating and surface protection technologies.
分会报告后，论坛举办《Corrosion Science》期刊发展圆桌研讨会。与会特邀专家及青年编委围绕期刊品牌定位、栏目体系建设、稿件质量把控、学术评审规范、专题组稿策划、行业影响力推广、青年人才培养通道建设等核心议题，展开深层次研讨交流。海内外青年编委结合全球科研生态及自身审稿投稿实践，围绕进一步提升期刊影响力、优化同行评议机制、挖掘优质稿源、打造特色专栏、扩大学术成果传播力等关键方向，提出精细化改进方案与创新发展思路。本次圆桌研讨氛围热烈、建言务实，既为期刊高质量、国际化发展凝聚了宝贵智慧，也为广大青年学者深度参与国际期刊建设、深耕学术服务、接轨国际学术前沿搭建了重要实践平台。
Following the committee report, the forum hosted a roundtable discussion with experts from the journal "Corrosion Science." The discussion focused on key topics such as the journal's brand positioning, development of its content, quality control of submitted manuscripts, academic review standards, planning for specialized sections, promotion of industry influence, and the development of channels for cultivating young talent. Experts from around the world shared their insights on how to further enhance the journal's impact, optimize the peer review process, identify high-quality submissions, create specialized sections, and expand the dissemination of academic findings. The roundtable discussion was lively and productive, providing valuable insights for the journal's high-quality, international development. It also created a valuable platform for young scholars to actively participate in the construction of international journals, engage in academic services, and connect with international academic frontiers.
8 月 23 日，本次论坛专门开设博士后、博士研究生论文讲评会，助力青年科研人才成长。现场青年学者结合自身研究成果依次登台汇报，受邀资深教授进行现场点评，针对科学问题凝练、实验设计、数据分析、论文撰写、投稿策略等方面提出专业修改意见。青年科研人员充分展现扎实科研功底与良好学术表达能力，通过与专家面对面交流获得精准指导。
On August 23rd, the forum featured a special session dedicated to reviewing doctoral and postgraduate student theses, aimed at fostering the growth of young research talent. During the session, young scholars presented their research findings, followed by on-site commentary from invited senior professors. The professors provided expert feedback on topics such as scientific rigor, experimental design, data analysis, paper writing, and submission strategies. The young researchers demonstrated their solid research skills and effective academic communication, benefiting from direct interaction with experts and receiving precise guidance.
