70 Years of Diplomatic Relations: Visiting SISU and Continuing the Friendship Between China and Syria

尹冬梅代表上海外国语大学、中阿改革发展研究中心向完成本期研修的全体学员表示热烈祝贺。她表示，“读懂中国，始于理论求索，成于实践体悟。”本次研修通过讲座交流、实地走访，让学员们全方位地感受真实、立体、全面的中国式现代化发展。希望各位学员将学习成果转化为实际成效，推动两国各领域交流合作结出更多丰硕成果。

On behalf of Shanghai International Studies University and the China-Arab States Reform and Development Research Center, Yin Dongmei extended her warm congratulations to all participants who completed the training program. She noted, “Understanding China begins with theoretical exploration and is enriched through practical experience.” Through lectures, discussions, and field visits, the program enabled participants to gain a comprehensive understanding of China’s real, multidimensional, and all-round development under Chinese modernization. She expressed the hope that participants would translate what they had learned into tangible outcomes and contribute to more fruitful exchanges and cooperation between the two countries across various fields.

穆罕默德·扎卡里亚·拉巴贝迪在致辞中，对上海外国语大学、中阿改革发展研究中心的精心筹备、细致安排致以诚挚感谢。他认为，本次研修助力学员系统学习借鉴中国改革发展的宝贵经验。中国取得的各项发展成就，离不开科学长远的规划、持之以恒的奋斗，这些成熟经验对叙利亚发展建设极具参考价值。他表示，恰逢叙中建交70周年，未来期待叙中两国能够持续深化各领域务实合作，同时勉励全体参训学员珍惜研修成果、坚持学以致用，深耕双边交流，将所学所得转化为推动本国发展的实际成效，以此为全新起点，携手推动叙中友好合作持续向前发展。

In his remarks, Mohammad Zakaria Rababedi expressed his sincere appreciation to Shanghai International Studies University and the China-Arab States Reform and Development Research Center for their careful preparation and thoughtful arrangements. He said that the training program had helped participants systematically study and draw on valuable experience from China’s reform and development. China’s achievements in development, he noted, have been made possible by sound and long-term planning as well as sustained efforts, and these well-established experiences are highly valuable references for Syria’s development and reconstruction. He said that, as China and Syria celebrate the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations, he looked forward to continued deepening of practical cooperation between the two countries across various fields. He also encouraged all participants to value what they had gained from the program, put their learning into practice, and further strengthen bilateral exchanges by translating their knowledge and experience into tangible contributions to their countries’ development. He expressed the hope that this would serve as a new starting point for jointly advancing China-Syria friendship and cooperation.

艾曼·拉什瓦尼代表全体学员发言。他认为，本次研修内容充实、形式多样，助力学员系统学习中国改革发展的先进经验。他表示，中国依托长远规划、实干奋斗和人才投入取得的发展成就，对叙利亚重建发展极具借鉴意义。他指出，通过多元化的研修方式，让大家切实感受到中国卓越的发展成就与清晰的未来愿景。本次研修让学员领略到中华文明多元一体的独特魅力，收获了宝贵的研学体验。他期待双方能持续深化培训交流、能力建设、经验互鉴等领域合作，推动叙中友好合作不断提质增效。

Ayman Rashwani delivered remarks on behalf of all the participants. He said that the training program was rich in content and diverse in format, helping participants systematically learn from China’s advanced experience in reform and development. He noted that China’s development achievements, built on long-term planning, practical efforts, and investment in talent, offer valuable lessons for Syria’s reconstruction and development. He pointed out that through diverse training activities, participants gained a direct understanding of China’s remarkable development achievements and clear vision for the future. The program also enabled them to appreciate the unique charm of Chinese civilization, characterized by diversity within unity, and provided them with valuable learning and research experiences. He expressed the hope that both sides would continue to deepen cooperation in training and exchange, capacity building, and mutual learning from experience, further enhancing the quality and effectiveness of China-Syria friendship and cooperation.
