用“美”探索中国——南艺成功举办2026年中国政府奖学金“‘艺术科考非遗读中国’艺术研学营”国际暑期学校 Exploring China Through Beauty – Nanjing University of the Arts Hosts the 2026 Chinese Government Scholarship International Summer School: "Art Exploration and Intangible Cultural Heritage Exploration of China"
2026年7月3日，由国家留学基金管理委员会立项，南京艺术学院主办的中国政府奖学金“‘艺术科考非遗读中国’艺术研学营”国际暑期学校结营仪式成功举办。来自英国伯恩茅斯艺术大学、埃及中国大学、泰国朱拉隆功大学、泰国诗纳卡宁威洛大学的53名学员参与本届国际暑期学校。南京艺术学院党委常委、副校长张捷，国际教育学院党总支书记、院长奚协，国际教育学院副院长尹鑫、吴同，及相关工作人员共同出席。结营仪式由国际教育学院党总支副书记赵惟一主持。 On July 3, 2026, the closing ceremony of the "Art Exploration and Intangible Cultural Heritage Study Tour of China" International Summer School, funded by the China Scholarship Council and hosted by Nanjing University of the Arts, was successfully held. 53 students from Bournemouth University of the Arts (UK), China University of Egypt, Chulalongkorn University (Thailand), and Srinakharinwirot University (Thailand) participated in this year's international summer school. Zhang Jie, Standing Committee Member of the Party Committee and Vice President of Nanjing University of the Arts, Xi Xie, Secretary of the Party Committee and Dean of the School of International Education, Yin Xin and Wu Tong, Vice Deans of the School of International Education, and relevant staff members attended the ceremony. The closing ceremony was presided over by Zhao Weiyi, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of International Education. 张捷在结营仪式上向全体学员顺利完成本届国际暑期学校的各项专题工作坊、文化课程、艺术考察，并产出丰富多彩的艺术作品，表示热烈祝贺。张捷指出，五千年辉煌灿烂的中华文明举世闻名，但只有来到这里，从一杯茶、一幅画、一盏花灯开始，才能感受到深藏于这些文化符号背后的文明蕴含。她强调，中国文化、中国精神延绵不断的文明密码正是由一代又一代的文人巨匠传承发扬。她勉励全体学员，以这次国际暑期学校为起点，以艺术为桥梁，做中外友好交流的青年使者，把中国故事带去世界各地。随后，张捷向英国、埃及、泰国学员代表颁发结业证书。 At the closing ceremony, Zhang Jie warmly congratulated all participants on successfully completing the various workshops, cultural courses, and art field trips of this International Summer School, and on producing a rich array of artistic works. Zhang Jie pointed out that the five-thousand-year-old glorious Chinese civilization is world-renowned, but only by coming here, starting with a cup of tea, a painting, or a lantern, can one truly feel the profound civilizational connotations hidden behind these cultural symbols. She emphasized that the enduring code of Chinese culture and spirit has been passed down and carried forward by generations of literary giants. She encouraged all participants to use this International Summer School as a starting point, art as a bridge, to become young ambassadors of friendly exchange between China and other countries, and to bring Chinese stories to the world. Bamboo weaving, lanterns, lacquer fans, traditional Chinese paintings, and Chinese character posters—each exquisite piece showcased the participants' curiosity and bewilderment at their initial exploration of Chinese culture, as well as their eagerness to learn and their immersion in the learning process. For the students from the three countries, this was a true “exploration of beauty.” Nanjing University of the Arts, with its uniquely Chinese romance, led them to open up China through the lens of beauty.
何以为美？What constitutes beauty?
南艺从艺术、语言与科技三个维度打开一个美的立体的中国。 Nanjing University of the Arts (NUA) unveils a beautiful and multifaceted China through the three dimensions of art, language, and technology. 艺术之美——走进缤纷多彩的中国非遗The Beauty of Art: Exploring the Diverse World of Chinese Intangible Cultural Heritage 客来奉茶，向来是中国人的待客之道。作为开篇第一个工作坊，“常州茶道”传承人李尔曹从一片叶子到一杯香茗，介绍了东西方茶饮文化异同，并重点讲解了中国茶的品类及特征。 Serving tea to guests is a traditional Chinese way of hospitality. As the first workshop, Li Ercao, the inheritor of "Changzhou Tea Ceremony," introduced the similarities and differences between Eastern and Western tea drinking cultures, from a single leaf to a cup of fragrant tea, and focused on explaining the categories and characteristics of Chinese tea. “常州茶道”传承人李尔曹Li Ercao, inheritor of "Changzhou Tea Ceremony" 体验功夫茶Experience Kung Fu TeaEKIN ULKU认为，对于习惯喝茶包的英国人来说，这无疑令他们惊讶。中国茶不仅气味各异，其间还蕴藏着许多哲理文化。中国画工作坊、竹编工作坊、中国传统花灯技艺工作坊、画扇工作坊等分别由南艺美术与书法学院、南艺设计学院、南艺与秦淮非遗馆共建研学基地、秦淮老年大学的教师、非遗技艺传承人授课。全体学员在一笔一划、一针一线之间，深入国画、花灯等具有代表性的中国文化符号背后，探索其生成的奥秘。 EKIN ULKU believes this will undoubtedly surprise the British, who are accustomed to drinking tea bags. Chinese tea not only comes in various flavors but also embodies a wealth of philosophical and cultural meaning. Workshops on Chinese painting, bamboo weaving, traditional Chinese lantern making, and fan painting were taught by teachers and inheritors of intangible cultural heritage from the Nanjing University of the Arts' School of Fine Arts and Calligraphy, the Nanjing University of the Arts' School of Design, the Nanjing University of the Arts and Qinhuai Intangible Cultural Heritage Museum's joint research and study base, and the Qinhuai Senior University. Through each stroke and stitch, participants delved into the mysteries behind representative Chinese cultural symbols such as traditional Chinese painting and lantern making. 体验中国画Experience Chinese painting 制作非遗竹编Making intangible cultural heritage bamboo weaving 制作花灯Making lanterns体验扬琴Experience the dulcimer制作漆扇Making lacquer fans 语言之美——用中文打开中国人的日常图景The Beauty of Language: Unveiling the Daily Life of Chinese People Through Chinese “老板，这个多少钱？”“老板，能便宜一点儿吗？”来自埃及中国大学的Mariam在结营仪式上大“秀”这段时间以来她学到的最有用的中文，引得全体师生喝彩。诚然，融入一个文化的最快途径便是学会语言。本届国际暑期学校安排了《学汉语，游南京》系列主题中文课程，带领全体学员以句为本快速进入中文世界，并在学以致用间最直接地感受到“可以和中国人交流”的乐趣。然而中文对于中国人来说，不仅仅是简单的交际工具，更是一门古老的艺术。在汉字源流与汉字海报工作坊上，全体学员了解了汉字的起源，并通过底板构图、创意拼贴的形式，创造属于他们的独特汉字。 "Boss, how much is this?" Mariam from the Egypt-China University showcased the most useful Chinese she had learned during the summer camp at the closing ceremony, drawing cheers from all the teachers and students. Indeed, the fastest way to integrate into a culture is to learn the language. This year's international summer school arranged a series of themed Chinese courses entitled "Learn Chinese, Explore Nanjing," guiding all students to quickly enter the Chinese world by focusing on sentences and directly experience the joy of "being able to communicate with Chinese people" through practical application. However, for Chinese people, Chinese is not just a simple communication tool, but also an ancient art. In the workshop on the origin of Chinese characters and Chinese character posters, all students learned about the origin of Chinese characters and created their own unique Chinese characters through baseboard design and creative collage. 汉语课Chinese lessons汉字海报课Chinese character poster class 科技之美——在杭州感受中国科创的魅力The Beauty of Science and Technology: Experiencing the Charm of Chinese Scientific and Technological Innovation in Hangzhou 学员们不止一次地感慨，“这和他们知道的中国不一样”。这份“不一样”代表着他们已经看到了一个立体的中国。中国从来不只有传统文化一面，学员们更感兴趣的是当代中国科技的发展。带着这份期待，他们走进杭州。“万物皆可仿真。”亚洲仿真联盟秘书长翁敬农教授向大家介绍亚仿联的发展历程和理念。坐落于北京航空航天大学杭州校区的亚洲仿真联盟是南京艺术学院国际组织实习生生源基地。大家领略了仿真技术在工业、医疗等领域的广泛应用，直观体会到科技如何深度赋能社会各领域的发展。 The trainees repeatedly remarked, "This is different from the China they knew." This "difference" signifies that they have seen a multifaceted China. China is never just about traditional culture; the trainees were even more interested in the development of contemporary Chinese science and technology. With this expectation, they visited Hangzhou. "Everything can be simulated," Professor Weng Jingnong, Secretary-General of the Asian Simulation Alliance, introduced the Alliance's development history and philosophy. Located at the Hangzhou campus of Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, the Asian Simulation Alliance is a source of international organization interns for Nanjing University of the Arts. The trainees witnessed the wide application of simulation technology in industries such as industry and medicine, and directly experienced how technology profoundly empowers the development of various sectors of society. 参观亚洲仿真联盟Visiting the Asian Simulation Alliance空天馆体验模拟开飞机The Sky Pavilion offers a simulated airplane flight experience.而大家最期待的便是探访阿里巴巴位于杭州的全球总部和机器人小镇。在那里，他们以最直接的互动感受到中国高科技发展同时的绿色环保与以人为本。 What everyone was most looking forward to was visiting Alibaba's global headquarters and robotics town in Hangzhou. 美从何来？Where does beauty come from?
如果说工作坊是让学员们以最直观的方式打开美的中国，那么艺术考察则带领大家回溯历史，回望中国的“来时路”。 If the workshop allows participants to experience the beauty of China in the most direct way, then the art field trip leads everyone to trace back history and look back at China's "origin". 这份美根脉深厚。“五千年中国看良渚”，良渚遗址是实证中华五千年文明史的历史圣地。城市建造、墓葬礼仪、农田沟渠等均已勾勒出中华文明的雏形。六月的杭州，微风带雨，伫立于五千年的中华先民土地之上，那份跨越时空的对话油然而生。遥望远山绰约，绿油油的稻田正如千年之前与风对话。同学们撑伞漫步，走过历史的漫漫长河，聆听残垣碎石间历史的回响。 This beauty has deep roots."Five thousand years of Chinese history can be seen in Liangzhu," and the Liangzhu site is a sacred historical site that provides concrete evidence of five thousand years of Chinese civilization. Urban construction, burial rites, farmland irrigation ditches, and other features have already outlined the rudiments of Chinese civilization. In June in Hangzhou, a gentle breeze carries a hint of rain. Standing on the land of our five-thousand-year-old ancestors, a dialogue across time arises spontaneously. Gazing at the distant, graceful mountains, the lush green rice paddies seem to be conversing with the wind from a thousand years ago. Students stroll under umbrellas, traversing the long river of history, listening to the echoes of history amidst the ruins and rubble. 参观良渚古城遗址公园Visit Liangzhu Ancient City Ruins Park这份美众志成城。“历史属于人民”，在南京城墙博物馆里得到了更深刻的印证。如果说良渚勾勒出中华先民对于美好生活的最初愿望，那么南京城的每一块砖便都在实现并不断加固这一最淳朴的追求。南京的砖是有声音、有生命的，是每一个中国古代劳动者存在过的印证，是“著落各处人民共造”的举国工程。学员们好奇地辨认城砖上的汉字，感慨伟大工程背后无数普通人的文明奇迹。 This beauty is a testament to the collective will of the people.The saying "History belongs to the people" finds even deeper confirmation at the Nanjing City Wall Museum. If Liangzhu outlined the earliest aspirations of the Chinese people for a better life, then every brick in Nanjing's city wall has been realizing and continuously reinforcing this most basic pursuit. The bricks of Nanjing have a voice, a life; they are proof of the existence of every ancient Chinese laborer, a testament to the nationwide project of "people from all walks of life working together." The students curiously deciphered the Chinese characters on the bricks, marveling at the countless ordinary people's contributions to this magnificent engineering feat. 参观城墙博物馆Visit the City Wall Museum这份美也曾伤痕累累。“三千万”，这一个数字在大家参观完侵华日军南京大屠杀遇难同胞纪念馆后，便有了特殊的含义。它深深地烙印在每一个中国人的心头，而这份伤痛实实在在地发生于这片土地。同学们在讲解员的带领下，认真走过每一个展板，揭开南京这份历史的伤疤。铭记伤痛并不代表沉湎于过去，蓬勃发展的当代中国，只有浴血奋战后才能焕发新生，盛放于世界。中国之美，只有放进艺术文化之中、社会发展之中、历史沧桑之中，才更加底蕴深厚。不忘来时路，不负少年心。五千年中华文明历久弥坚，才赋予这份“美”多姿多彩。 This beauty has also been scarred.The number "thirty million" took on a special meaning after everyone visited the Memorial Hall of the Victims of the Nanjing Massacre by Japanese Invaders. It is deeply imprinted in the hearts of every Chinese person, and this pain truly occurred on this land. Led by the guide, the students carefully walked through each exhibit, uncovering this historical scar of Nanjing. Remembering the pain does not mean wallowing in the past. A thriving contemporary China can only be reborn and flourish in the world after a bloody battle. The beauty of China only becomes truly profound when placed within art and culture, social development, and the vicissitudes of history. Never forget the path we have traveled, and live up to the spirit of youth. Five thousand years of enduring Chinese civilization have endowed this "beauty" with its rich diversity.
美将何去？Where will America go from here?
南艺总是愿赋予结营仪式以“启航”之意。53名学员中的大部分人，他们是第一次来到中国，甚至第一次走出国门。这份“美的探索”国际暑期学校，让他们认识到一个不一样美的中国，也希望他们将这份美带去他们的国家，用“第一视角”讲述他们经历过的中国故事。 Nanjing University of the Arts always imbues its closing ceremony with the meaning of "setting sail." For most of the 53 students, this was their first time in China, and even their first time traveling abroad. This "Exploration of Beauty" international summer school allowed them to see a different kind of beauty in China, and it is hoped that they will bring this beauty back to their own countries and tell their stories of China from a "first-person perspective." 美人之美，美美与共。南京艺术学院国际暑期学校系列短期团组项目以“美”为脉络，通过学校艺术学科优势，将中国非遗、中国城市文化与当代发展贯穿其间，形成主题工作坊、文化课程、艺术考察相结合的研学平台。学校将进一步打造具有文化广度、学术深度、人文温度的艺术研学，用“艺术科考”引领国际青年讲好中国故事。 Embracing beauty, we share beauty together. The Nanjing University of the Arts International Summer School's series of short-term group programs uses "beauty" as its central theme. Leveraging the university's strengths in arts disciplines, the programs integrate Chinese intangible cultural heritage, urban culture, and contemporary development, creating a research-based learning platform that combines themed workshops, cultural courses, and art field trips. The university will further develop art-based learning programs with cultural breadth, academic depth, and humanistic warmth, using "artistic exploration" to guide international youth in telling China's story effectively.
