7月12日，由江苏省教育厅主办，南京信息工程大学承办的2026年“锦绣江苏——气象万千·苏韵流长”国际暑期学校圆满结营。今年是我校连续承办的第3个“锦绣江苏”国际暑期学校项目。本次暑期学校参与规模创历史新高，汇聚法国、德国、意大利、俄罗斯和保加利亚等5个国家共58名海外青年参与，来自法国滨海大学、德国莱比锡大学、意大利萨伦托大学、意大利克耶地-佩斯卡拉邓南遮大学、俄罗斯国立水文气象大学、俄罗斯喀山联邦大学等多所海外高水平大学。 项目紧扣“气象万千”主题，聚焦气象生态、海洋科学、人工智能交叉应用等前沿领域，开设系列学术讲座，涵盖气候变化研究、古代气象文化、水文湿地生态、机器学习、AI+医疗等多元内容。全面依托我校优势学科，为海外学员搭建了深入了解中国气象科学和前沿科技的平台。 More 项目以中国文化为纽带，打造沉浸式、互动式中华传统文化体验体系。通过中国传统节日、中国古代诗词与音乐、今日中国等文化讲座，搭配中国传统剪纸、武术、舞龙等体验项目，让海外青年得以领略中华文化的博大精深、感知中国日新月异的发展成就，增强对中华文化的认同。 More 项目围绕“苏韵流长”人文内核，带领学员亲身体悟江苏千年文脉。在南京，学员参访老门东、夫子庙、扬子江生态公园，领略金陵古韵，感知长江文化底蕴；在扬州，学员先后参访中国大运河博物馆、扬州博物馆、扬州中国雕版印刷博物馆、瘦西湖、个园和东关街等文化地标，探寻千年运河文明、感悟古城烟火文脉，全方位领略锦绣江苏深厚的人文底蕴。 More 在小组展示环节，各组学员结合两周以来的经历，分享所见所闻、所学所悟，内容涉及气候变化、中华传统文化、中国现代城市景观与社会风貌等方面，真切传递出对中华文化、新时代中国发展、江苏风韵的感悟与全新认知，现场掌声不断。 国际教育学院党总支书记、院长张广磊，副书记、副院长施宁和教师代表熊安沅副教授出席结营仪式。 张广磊在结营仪式上致辞，充分肯定了全体学员在暑期学校期间的积极参与与丰硕收获，并希望大家能够留存此行所见所学，当好融通中外文明的青年使者，向世界介绍鲜活的江苏，与真实、立体、全面的中国。随后，张广磊和熊安沅为全体学员颁发结业证书。 More 未来，我校将持续擦亮“锦绣江苏”和“留学信大”品牌，持续依托我校特色学科，不断优化项目体系、创新交流载体，搭建更高质量的中外文明互鉴、学术互通平台，持续助力海外青年亲身触摸江苏的人文温度与发展活力，读懂真实立体的中国。
On July 12th, the 2026 "Beautiful Jiangsu - A Myriad of Wonders, Enduring Charm" International Summer School, hosted by the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Education and organized by Nanjing University of Information Science and Technology, successfully concluded. This is the third consecutive year that our university has hosted the "Beautiful Jiangsu" International Summer School project. This year's summer school saw a record-breaking number of participants, bringing together 58 young people from five countries: France, Germany, Italy, Russia, and Bulgaria. Participants came from several high-level overseas universities, including the University of Littoral (France), the University of Leipzig (Germany), the University of Salento (Italy), the University of Dionysius-Ciel de Pescara (Italy), the Russian State Hydrometeorological University, and the Kazan Federal University (Russia).
The program, themed "The Myriad Aspects of Meteorology," focuses on cutting-edge fields such as meteorological ecology, marine science, and the interdisciplinary application of artificial intelligence. It offers a series of academic lectures covering diverse topics including climate change research, ancient meteorological culture, hydrological wetland ecology, machine learning, and AI+healthcare. Leveraging the strengths of our university's disciplines, the program provides overseas participants with a platform to gain a deeper understanding of China's meteorological science and cutting-edge technologies.
The project uses Chinese culture as a link to create an immersive and interactive experience system of traditional Chinese culture. Through lectures on traditional Chinese festivals, ancient Chinese poetry and music, and contemporary China, coupled with experiential activities such as traditional Chinese paper-cutting, martial arts, and dragon dance, overseas youth can appreciate the profoundness of Chinese culture, perceive China's rapid development achievements, and enhance their identification with Chinese culture.
The program revolves around the core theme of "The Enduring Charm of Suzhou," guiding participants to experience firsthand the millennia-old cultural heritage of Jiangsu. In Nanjing, participants visited Laomendong, Confucius Temple, and the Yangtze River Ecological Park, appreciating the ancient charm of Jinling and experiencing the profound cultural heritage of the Yangtze River. In Yangzhou, participants visited cultural landmarks such as the Grand Canal Museum, Yangzhou Museum, Yangzhou China Woodblock Printing Museum, Slender West Lake, Ge Garden, and Dongguan Street, exploring the millennia-old canal civilization, experiencing the vibrant cultural heritage of the ancient city, and gaining a comprehensive understanding of the rich cultural heritage of beautiful Jiangsu.
During the group presentations, participants from each group shared their experiences, observations, and insights gained over the past two weeks. The topics covered included climate change, traditional Chinese culture, and the urban landscape and social conditions of modern China. They genuinely conveyed their understanding and new insights into Chinese culture, China's development in the new era, and the charm of Jiangsu Province, drawing continuous applause from the audience.
Zhang Guanglei, Party Secretary and Dean of the School of International Education, Shi Ning, Deputy Party Secretary and Vice Dean, and Associate Professor Xiong Anyuan, a teacher representative, attended the closing ceremony.
In his closing remarks, Zhang Guanglei fully affirmed the active participation and fruitful gains of all the participants during the summer school. He expressed his hope that everyone would cherish what they had seen and learned, and become ambassadors for bridging Chinese and foreign civilizations, introducing the vibrant Jiangsu province and the real, multifaceted, and comprehensive China to the world. Following this, Zhang Guanglei and Xiong Anyuan presented graduation certificates to all the participants.
In the future, our university will continue to enhance the brands of "Beautiful Jiangsu" and "Study at Xinda", continue to rely on our university's distinctive disciplines, continuously optimize the project system, innovate exchange platforms, build a higher-quality platform for mutual learning and academic exchange between Chinese and foreign civilizations, and continue to help overseas youth personally experience the humanistic warmth and development vitality of Jiangsu, and understand the real and three-dimensional China.
