为深入贯彻校工会思想政治引领活动专项工作部署，丰富教职工子女暑期文化生活，搭建中外文化交流桥梁，近日，南昌大学国际教育学院举办了“语通世界，筑梦未来”留学生外语教学志愿服务活动。活动吸引了全校120余名教职工子女参与，来自土库曼斯坦、摩洛哥、巴基斯坦等国的9名留学生志愿者精心准备、倾情授课，以语言为媒介架起跨文化交流的桥梁。
To thoroughly implement the university's labor union's special work plan for ideological and political guidance, enrich the summer cultural life of faculty and staff's children, and build a bridge for cultural exchange between China and other countries, the International Education College of Nanchang University recently held a volunteer service activity for international students' foreign language teaching, themed "Connecting the World, Building Dreams for the Future." The activity attracted over 120 children of faculty and staff from across the university. Nine international student volunteers from countries such as Turkmenistan, Morocco, and Pakistan meticulously prepared and passionately taught lessons, using language as a medium to build a bridge for cross-cultural communication.
活动按年龄段分为A组（3-6岁）、B组（7-12岁）和C组（13-18岁），针对不同年龄段学员的认知特点，设置了差异化课程。A组以启蒙为主，通过儿歌学唱、模仿游戏等互动形式激发学习兴趣；B组围绕“我爱我家”“运动嘉年华”“我是旅行家”“工作和职业”等主题开展情境教学；C组以话题研讨为主，“世界青年说——Z世代图鉴”“我的大学梦——全球大学图鉴”“未来我来——青年与世界议题”三个话题逐一展开。
The activity was divided into three age groups: Group A (3-6 years old), Group B (7-12 years old), and Group C (13-18 years old). Differentiated courses were designed to cater to the cognitive characteristics of participants in each age group. Group A focused on early learning, using interactive methods such as singing nursery rhymes and imitation games to stimulate interest. Group B conducted situational teaching around themes such as "I Love My Home," "Sports Carnival," "I Am a Traveler," and "Work and Career." Group C focused on topic discussions, exploring three topics in turn: "World Youth Speak – A Portrait of Generation Z," "My University Dream – A Global University Portrait," and "The Future is Mine – Youth and Global Issues."
三天活动下来，学员们的变化尤为显著。活动首日，不少学员羞于开口，自我介绍声音细微，互动环节多以点头摇头回应。在志愿者们持续鼓励与耐心引导下，学员们逐步突破心理障碍。A组小朋友从不敢发声到主动模仿动物叫声，最终能完整跟唱英文儿歌；B组学员从第一节课怯于说出“This is my mother”，到自信介绍自己未来的职业理想，在课堂上踊跃抢答；C组学员从沉默寡言，到主动开口与志愿者交流国际环保话题。最后，多位家长表达了对活动的高度认可，认为此类活动对激发孩子外语学习兴趣、培养跨文化意识和沟通能力具有积极作用，希望今后能够持续举办。
Over the three-day event, the participants showed remarkable improvement. On the first day, many were shy and hesitant to speak, their self-introductions soft and their responses limited to nodding or shaking their heads during interactive sessions. With the volunteers' continued encouragement and patient guidance, the participants gradually overcame their psychological barriers. Children in Group A went from being too afraid to speak to actively imitating animal sounds, eventually singing along to English nursery rhymes completely. Group B students went from being too shy to say "This is my mother" in the first lesson to confidently introducing their future career aspirations and actively participating in class discussions. Group C students went from being quiet and reserved to proactively engaging with volunteers on international environmental topics. Finally, many parents expressed their high regard for the event, believing that such activities play a positive role in stimulating children's interest in foreign language learning, cultivating cross-cultural awareness and communication skills, and hoped that the event could continue in the future.
对留学生志愿者而言，这场志愿服务既是一次外语教学的公益实践，亦是一次珍贵的成长经历。摩洛哥籍留学生IDROU AYA（中文名：艾柔）表示，“教育最美的声音，是孩子们从不敢开口到争先恐后举手的喧闹。”土库曼斯坦籍留学生KALANDAROVA MALIKA（中文名：梅卡）认为，“我不仅教了他们英语，更从他们身上学会了：快乐会传染，耐心和善意可以打破任何隔阂。”土库曼斯坦籍留学生MAMMETYAROV DAVUT（中文名：大吾）感慨到，“当台下有孩子用西班牙语流利发言时，我看到了无限可能。语言是桥梁，而每一份精心准备，都可能点亮一个少年的世界版图。”土库曼斯坦籍留学生NARYYEVA OGULBIBI（中文名：奥古拉）体会到，“教孩子英语，重要的不是教了什么，而是他们敢开口的那一刻。用游戏代替说教，用鼓励代替纠正，见证一个个小声音从怯懦到勇敢，便是这段经历最珍贵的意义。”土库曼斯坦籍留学生YAGSHYGELDIYEVA AYGUL（中文名：爱古丽）说到，“当孩子坚持要带恐龙去旅行时，我选择蹲下身倾听。那一刻我明白：我的使命不是给出标准答案，而是保护每个奇思妙想背后的自信和勇气——因为比知识更珍贵的，是他们相信自己‘可以说英语’的信念。”
For the international student volunteers, this volunteer service was not only a public service practice of foreign language teaching, but also a valuable growth experience. Moroccan student Idrou Aya (Chinese name: Ai Rou) said, "The most beautiful sound of education is the clamor of children going from being afraid to speak to eagerly raising their hands." Turkmen student Kalandarova Marika (Chinese name: Mei Ka) believes, "I not only taught them English, but also learned from them that happiness is contagious, and patience and kindness can break down any barriers." Turkmen student Mammetyarov Davut (Chinese name: Da Wu) remarked, "When a child in the audience spoke fluent Spanish, I saw infinite possibilities. Language is a bridge, and every careful preparation can illuminate a young person's world map." Turkmen student Naryyeva... OGULBIBI (Chinese name: 奥古拉) realized, "The important thing about teaching children English is not what you teach, but the moment they dare to speak. Using games instead of lecturing, encouragement instead of correction, and witnessing each little voice grow from timid to brave is the most precious meaning of this experience." Turkmen student YAGSHYGELDIYEVA AYGUL (Chinese name: 爱古丽) said, "When the children insisted on taking dinosaurs on a trip, I chose to squat down and listen. At that moment, I understood: my mission is not to give standard answers, but to protect the confidence and courage behind every wonderful idea—because what is more precious than knowledge is their belief that they 'can speak English'."
本次活动是“小青留·心语桥”留学生外语教学志愿服务队的重要实践。“小青留”是南昌大学留学生的亲切昵称，“心语桥”则寓意以真诚之心、用语言之力搭建中外文化交流的桥梁。从首批38名成员的选拔培训，到走进南昌大学附属学校、南昌五中等开展覆盖300余名学生的语言文化交流实践活动，再到本次面向教职工子女的集中授课，志愿服务队一步一个脚印，将服务地方发展、深化校地合作、促进中外交流的理念落到实处。
This event is an important practice of the "Little Green Students, Bridge of Hearts" international student foreign language teaching volunteer service team. "Little Green Students" is the affectionate nickname for international students at Nanchang University, while "Bridge of Hearts" signifies building a bridge for cultural exchange between China and other countries with sincerity and the power of language. From the selection and training of the first batch of 38 members, to carrying out language and cultural exchange practice activities covering more than 300 students in schools such as the Affiliated School of Nanchang University and Nanchang No. 5 Middle School, and now to this centralized teaching for the children of faculty and staff, the volunteer service team has taken steady steps to put into practice the concepts of serving local development, deepening university-local cooperation, and promoting Sino-foreign exchanges.
此前，我校医疗服务和外语教学两类志愿活动已入选全国来华留学生志愿服务首批重点项目。未来，国际教育学院将持续擦亮“留动赣鄱”活动品牌，按照全国来华留学生志愿服务行动计划各项要求，深耕赣鄱红色文化与地域文化资源，常态化组织来华留学生走进中小学、城乡社区、国情教育实践基地，开展公益服务与文化交流活动，引导来华留学生在沉浸式感知中华文化中融入地方发展，在志愿奉献中实现自我成长，在交流互鉴中促进文化共融，让我校“小青留”的青春之声在赣鄱大地上留下更多温暖回响。
Previously, our school's medical service and foreign language teaching volunteer activities were selected as the first batch of key projects for volunteer service for international students in China. In the future, the School of International Education will continue to enhance the "Students in Action in Jiangxi" brand, adhering to the requirements of the National Action Plan for Volunteer Service for International Students in China. We will delve into the red culture and regional cultural resources of Jiangxi, regularly organizing international students to visit primary and secondary schools, urban and rural communities, and national education practice bases to carry out public service and cultural exchange activities. This will guide international students to integrate into local development through immersive experience of Chinese culture, achieve self-growth through volunteer service, and promote cultural integration through exchange and mutual learning, ensuring that the youthful voices of our school's "Young International Students" resonate more warmly across Jiangxi.
