Global Sounds into the Wild, Music Gathers Youth Voices | The School of International Education and Exchange 2026 Chinese and International Freshmen Lawn Concert Successfully Concludes!

When the evening breeze took over the microphone, the lawn became a stage without borders; a youth song gathering for Chinese and international freshmen came to a successful close amid starlight and cheers.

The evening breeze drifted gently, and the songs took the stage. On the evening of October 9, the School of International Education and Exchange 2026 Chinese and International Freshmen Lawn Concert successfully concluded on the lawn behind the school.

Dean Fan Ming of the School of International Education and Exchange, Mr. Zhou Yaowu, head of international student affairs, Mr. Li Hongtao, full-time organization officer, and all 2026-level counselors gathered on the lawn with international students from all over the world and new students of the School of International Education from across the country, using music to bring each other closer. This was not only an audio-visual carnival, but also a spiritual resonance that crossed languages and cultures.

Dean's Message

At the beginning of the music festival, Dean Fan Ming delivered a passionate opening speech. She said to Chinese and international students: "Feel the beauty of art in melody, forge sincere friendship through exchange, and grow together through inclusiveness. Embrace diversity with an open international perspective, pursue dreams with a solid and enterprising attitude, learn from each other's strengths through mutual learning, and grow together through side-by-side striving, striving to become young people of the new era who combine professional competence, a sense of home and country, and an international perspective."This set a warm and inclusive tone for the entire evening.

Wang came in May.

Using music as a bridge, building dreams together. Music has no borders, and youth is now. This lawn concert was not only a wonderful artistic feast, but also a warm encounter between Chinese and international cultures. Using music as a medium, we felt the local customs and romance of different countries in the melodies, and listened to and appreciated each other in exchange. Upholding the belief of strengthening the body to serve the country and pursuing excellence, we, coming from all over the world, are young partners walking side by side. Although the evening party has ended, the youth story of the School of International Education and Exchange continues. In the countless days and nights ahead, let us continue to join hands and, in the wave of cultural exchange, journey together toward broader mountains and seas!
