Bui Thanh Dat, an international student from Vietnam, delivered a heartfelt rendition of the Vietnamese song "Đi Để Trở Về" (Leave to Return). With its melodious tune carrying deep sentiments of homeland, the song's lyrics express: "Every journey afar is to more deeply feel the warmth of home; leaving is not a farewell, but a gentle return after growth; only by traveling to the ends of the earth and experiencing the world's wonders can one bring warmth and stories back home." Bui Thanh Dat's sincere and moving performance resonated deeply with the faculty and students present, evoking a profound emotional connection that transcended national boundaries.

Mr. Hai Shengpu also spread out paper and flourished his brush, producing the phrase "马到成功" (Instant Success) with strokes that seemed to penetrate the paper, offering a heartfelt wish to the young students to seize their youth and embrace a boundless future.

The ceremony then entered its exciting award presentation segment. Deputy Party Secretary Zhang Ruihua and Vice President Zhou Qidi jointly presented awards to outstanding student leaders and admissions ambassadors who distinguished themselves over the past year. First presented were the Grade Leader Awards. Serving as vital bridges within the international student community throughout the past year, the grade leaders played an active and positive role in daily management, event organization, and cross-cultural communication, contributing significantly to the building of a harmonious and inclusive community for international students. Following this was the recognition of the "Study at BSU" Admissions Ambassadors. In 2025, the university selected 17 students from among enrolled international students representing 10 countries, including Croatia, Spain, the Republic of the Congo, Malaysia, and Vietnam, to serve as admissions ambassadors. Through sharing their personal experiences with sincerity, they actively amplified the voice of BSU, built bridges of cultural exchange and friendship, and showcased the exemplary character and spirit of dedication embodied by BSU's international students.

At the conclusion of the event, faculty and students participated together in traditional Chinese New Year customs such as writing the character "福" (Fortune) and making dumplings. Amidst ink, brush, paper, and inkstone, each "福" character written bore heartfelt wishes for good fortune; through kneading dough and rolling out wrappers, every dumpling made enfolded the warmth of reunion. In the process of crafting these traditions with their own hands, Chinese and international students not only experienced the charm of Chinese culture but also deepened their friendship through collaboration and shared exchange.
